Bush old Garnacha vines from different plots of old vines in the Alto Alberche, specifically in the western part of the Valley, northern part of the Sierra de Gredos. (Ávila, Sierra de Gredos).
Wine making:
They are cultivated using environmentally friendly agriculture and the harvest is carried out manually when the grapes reach optimum ripeness.
The grapes were harvested during the last week of September and the first week of October, from each vineyard separately. The grapes were 100% destemmed. Contact with the skins lasted between 15 and 30 days, depending on the grape, each batch fermented and aged in different containers.
Once the alcoholic fermentation was completed, the wine was lightly pressed and aged in used French oak barrels of 225 and 500 liters. Bottled in July 2020.
Tasting notes:
It is characterized by a low, bright, clean ruby colour. On the nose, aromas of ripe red fruit, cistus and orange peel stand out. Also, a slight touch of gunpowder
of gunpowder on the finish, which comes from the vineyard and not from the winemaking process.
On the palate, the touch of gunpowder is accompanied by the cistus and orange peel. Urdiense is a fluid wine, very balanced and fresh, with a long finish, easy to drink and enjoy.

Enjoy with stews, red meats, and roasts.
