Green peas with Jamon


Serves 3-4
* 1 large onion finely chopped
* 2 cloves of garlic, minced
* 90g Spain Ibérico diced jamón
* 450g frozen peas
* 3 tablespoons of olive oil
* freshly ground black pepper


1 – Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan and add the onion with a pinch of salt. Once the onion is soft, add the garlic and the jamón.

2 – Meanwhile add the frozen peas to a pan of boiling water and cook for a couple of minutes. Once they’re defrosted, drain the peas and add them to the frying pan.

3 – Add some freshly ground black pepper and cook for a further few minutes until the peas are soft and all the flavours are mixed.

4 – Serve hot. Tip: add a boiled egg on top for an extra creamy texture ????
